Hummus

Gestern abend habe ich  Hummus zubereitet, da wir weder Käse noch Wurst im Hause hatten. Here there are lots of recipes with hummus. The chickpea spread is actually made with sesame paste but who is already at home? I simply peanut butter is also quite fine: D

Yesterday in the evening I prepared Hummus because we did not have any cheese or cold meat at home. Here you can find recipes . Originally you prepare Hummus with Tahini but who does it usually have at home? I do not, that's why I use peanutbutter instead of sesame paste. It's delicious, too: D

how I do it:
That's the way I do it: 1 can of chickpeas

- 1 can chick peas / garbanzo beans
a dash of olive oil - a sip olive oil
1 tablespoon peanut butter (?) - 1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 small clove garlic - 1 small garlic clove
a bit of onion - a piece of onion
lemon juice, parsley, salt and pepper - lemon juice, parsley, salt & pepper


Whether its the chickpea water completely, partially or not used at all is a matter of taste. I always pour from, will try it next time but even with half of the Suds. Blend all ingredients together into cubes, and season - Bon appetit!

It's up to you wheather to use the chick peas water or not. I always pour it in the sink but next time I'll try it with the half of the stock. Put all ingredients together, it puree, season to taste - Enjoy your meal!
