Acid Jazz Vest - Part 1
What a some (my husband) is totally stupid, find some other (Jeanette) really great. And I see for a few days just not pink. In a fit of madness I had our neighbor to the newsletter presented Knitpicks and told that they can choose something. Must be all the incredibly delicious Chai tea are located, we had been drinking in the Camp House . We soon came upon the Acid Jazz Vest, which looked to me like an interesting knitting adventures and Jeanette liked. If I had the strength of the wool respected, I would have stuck together the relevant pages of the newsletter available or torn out. For non-knitters following is noted: the thinner the yarn, the longer you knit. The range of Knitpicks yarn has the strength of normal sock yarn is so pretty thin. If in this situation is the lucky one, knit one part without sleeves (JEP), ensnared a person who is very petite (JEP), and knit something interesting (JEP). The so-called "manual" for the Acid Jazz Vest I use as described not only the pattern set out I had copied. And this is the beginning.
Taste is different. There are things some people (f.e. my husband) dislike and other people (f. e. Jeanette) really love. Well, and I've seen pink for several days. It's like knitting through rose-colored glasses but without wearing the glasses. I must have had a mentally deranged moment as I gave the Knitpicks Magazin to my neighbor and offered her to pick one. I'm sure it was because of the delicious Chai Tea we had at the Camphouse . BTW you must try one it's to die for. After a short time we found the Acid Jazz Vest that Jeanette really liked and that seemed to be a nice knitting adventure for me. Actually it is being an adventure. I really wanted to knit this nice vest. If I'd payed more attention to the used yarnweight I probably would have pulled certain pages out or would have glued them together. A non-knitter information: The thinner the yarn the longer you knit. The Palette Yarn is almost as thin als regular sock wool. I like it very much but it's thin especially when you think about knitting a sweater. However, if you have fortune on your site like I have right now, you knit a sweater without sleeves (yep), you knit for a small person (yep) and you knit something very interesting (yep). In a recent post I've already described why I don't use the 'pattern' but only the color chart. The picture shows how it looks right now.
