If the Christian side of the question of the (self-) value of the people generally argued strongly on the image and likeness of God here, by which God's image is one from then? Where it is clear from Genesis 1:27, we focus or Jesus, whose resurrection body was drawn after all, of scars? The first is the Common. Can we hide the second but simple? If the broken body of Jesus resurrection only christological, soteriological significant or even ethical? And w hat is actually understand when thinking about perfection?
given some time ago I read an extremely interesting article in this book here . Can I recommend, not only because I am a member of the Convention, which stands behind it ;-).
Some hypotheses for further thought:
"the broken, damaged and imperfect body of Jesus on earth is like the broken body of Jesus resurrected in heaven."
"The fact that the risen Jesus took his wounds and scars still visible in itself, was necessary to maintain the identity of the person (or less a "distinguishing"). "
" Christian community reflects the broken imperfectly-perfect body of Christ. Live "
" Christians in the same paradoxical realities such as Jesus, for example. strength through weakness - life through death "
